The Important Thing About #EmpowerPinkBricks

What do you think is the most important aspect of #EmpowerPinkBricks Campaign by Lego?

  • Challenging Gender Stereotypes and the Way Children Play.

  • Empowering Girls to be Creative and Confident

  • Promoting Inclusivity and Diversity

  • All of the Above!

You can vote for more than one answer.

#EmpowerPinkBricks is a Pink Lego campaign created in order to:

  1. Empower young girls and create a space where they can be comfortable, confident, and creative as they build on their building and engineering skills in a way never before seen in the world of builder toys.

  2. Promote gender quality and inclusivity through the lens of pink!

It is believed at Pink Lego that it i stime that pink is reclaimed from underneath the stereotypical umbrella it has so long stood beneath. Many young boys and men refuse to associate with the color due to it's association with femininity. In contrast, many young girls and women will turn away from pink in order to be accepted or to feel comfortable in spaces more stereotypically geared towards men. Although Lego has long accepted our audience of all genders, it is about time that we opened the doors even more so that everyone feels welcome and comfortable when they are playing with Lego.
